Dr. Abby Noel Winterbrook graduated from the Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with Gifted Education Specialization at the University of Denver in August 2022. Currently, Abby is a Curriculum Coordinator with Stride K12. Previously, Abby was a K-12 Gifted and Talented Teacher at Muckleshoot Tribal Schools in Auburn, Washington and she taught High School Ceramics and AP 3D Art & Design at Issaquah High School in Issaquah, Washington. Abby is also an artist, much of her work is focused on Functional Ceramics and Landscape/Wildlife Photography. Abby's research interests include creativity, art education, gifted education, and the interconnectedness of these three realms of education. Abby earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with K-12 Art Licensure from Maine College of Art. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications with a specialization in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design. In addition, Abby enjoys Dog Sitting, Proofreading and Editing, and hosting Ceramic's Workshops! In her spare time, you can usually find Abby traveling, creating pottery with friends, or binge watching a Netflix show!
